The MAX8682ETM is a high-efficiency, booster DC-DC converter designed for portable devices such as smartphones, tablets and portable media players. The device has a wide input voltage range of 0.9V to 5.5V and can produce an output voltage of up to 5.5V.

The MAX8682ETM uses a fixed-frequency, pulse-width modulation (PWM) architecture to provide high efficiency, with a typical efficiency of 90% at 1.8V output voltage. The device also has a low-voltage differential voltage of 100mV at a 500mA load, which enables it to work with multiple battery types.
